The game is incredible I wanted to give important feedback about the dash to give profile to the enemy a visual indication of a slash or shiel from the player, it will say that it already exists in the player because it is already orange but one that is visual on the screen to indicate that I can give the profile and stay orange to kill the enemy!

Really cool combat and sound design, but the time you can parry should be a little bit longer, it was really frustrating in the beginning. But Once you understand the combat it's really fun it just needs to be a little bit easier in the beginning. 

Can you make a macOs version?

I liked it except those music cues that are very loud and kind of distracting. I lowered the sound to 10 percent and left the sound effects louder to be able to paly. Other than that awesome :)

Great game,  but there are things that made it rather tedious IMO

  • the main loop got repetitive and could have been shorter
  • the life pickup levels could have been just multiple respawn points instead of having to redo the whole thing
  • dodge traversal was not super interesting by itself and when I got careless and died I was simply frustrated that I had to repeat that

And finally while the boss is really neat it's just gets way too frustrating

  • shots in the second half come out immediately after which felt cheap everytime even when I knew it would happen
  • Some waves might cause the player to take contact dmg on spawn
  • Bullets can't be destroyed by using space except the special projectile that can hurt the boss
  • The 5th way with the boss shooting too felt like way too much coupled with the fact it gets quite long to get back upto that wave
  • No health pick-ups - really? 

Also I got the crash mentioned by inarsy, just once though.

really fun game but i got this crash. "memory allocation failed: attempting to allocate 433152000 bytes at gml_obj_shadow_renderer_draw_0"

also i feel like the parry and the push could be the same thing? it just feels a bit weird having 3 buttons that are all just different version of pushing the shield forward
